Huff Leads Hawks With Seventh-Place Finish

Pinkham Notch, N.H. (February 8) -- Junior Maura Huff (Russell, Mass.) placed seventh at the BC/Brown Carnival Slalom competition, held at Wildcat Mountain at Saturday afternoon. The Hawks finished seventh as a team.
Huff, who ended the regular season at 16th in the MacConnell Division, finished in a combined time of 1:36.32. Freshman Lauren Burgess (Saranac Lake, N.Y.) placed 25th in a time of 1:42.51, followed by junior co-captain Erin Forbes (Hanover, Maine) in 1:48.05. Jacqui Cloud (Winsted, Conn.) rounded out the top four skiers in 49th place in a time of 2:09.65.
The Hawks end the regular season under first-year head coach Melissa Caflisch.
