Women Place Eighth on Day Two at UConn

North Conway, N.H. (January 19) -- On Saturday afternoon on day two of the UConn Carnival, the Saint Anselm women's ski team placed eighth out of 10 teams in the second slalom race of the weekend at Mount Cranmore.
Co-captain Erin Forbes (Hanover, Maine) led the Hawks with a 30th-place in a combined time of 1:48.29, followed by co-captain Maura Huff (Russell, Mass.) in 39th place in a combined time of 1:09.02. Jacqui Cloud (Winsted, Conn.) was 48th, followed by Sarah Stever (Brooklyn, Conn.) in 52nd.
Saint Anselm is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th, as the Hawks travel to Waterville Valley for the Plymouth State Carnival.
