Penmen Top Hawks 18-9 in NE-10 Opener
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The women’s lacrosse team took on cross-town rival Southern New Hampshire this afternoon in the NE-10 conference opener. Although the Hawks jumped to a quick 2-0 lead, the Penmen dominated the majority of the game, cruising to an 18-9 victory.

Hawks to Participate in "Lax-4-Life" Initiative
MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Saint Anselm women’s lacrosse team will join several Division-II lacrosse teams around the country in supporting the “Lax-4-Life” initiative during its games on March 27th and April 3rd. The program promotes suicide awareness and prevention.

Smith, Alfis Earn Northeast-10 Weekly Honors
SOUTH EASTON, MASS. -- Women's lacrosse players Meghan Smith and Lauren Alfis were both honored by the NE-10 this week for their strong offense in the Hawks' opening week. Alfis was named Freshman of the Week and Smith earned Player of the Week.

Hawks Win Back-and-Forth Battle With Rams 14-13
PHILADELPHIA, PA. – The Saint Anselm women’s lacrosse team faced the Philadelphia University Rams this afternoon in a nonconference game at Drexel University. In a back-and-forth battle, the Hawks came out victorious, defeating the Rams 14-13.

Lions Pull Ahead Late in 15-8 Final
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. – The women’s lacrosse team took on the Molloy College Lions this afternoon. While the play was evenly-matched for a majority of the game, a 6-0 run for Molloy in the second half put the Lions ahead, giving the Hawks their first loss, 15-8.

Hawks Sting Spartans 17-4 on Opening Day
SPARKILL, N.Y. – The Saint Anselm women’s lacrosse team opened the 2010 season with a bang this afternoon, cruising to a 17-4 victory over the Saint Thomas Aquinas Spartans. Meghan Smith and Lauren Alfis led the Hawks in scoring, combining for nine of the Hawks’ 17 goals.

Hawks All Set For Spring Season
The Saint Anselm women's lacrosse team opens the 2010 season this Thursday night against Saint Thomas Acquinas. The team returns 11 players and welcomes nine newcomers. The Hawks are led by head coach Kathryn Gaudreau and assistant coach Holly Drown.

Gaudreau Named Women's Lax Interim Head Coach
Manchester, N.H. (November 19) -- Kate Gaudreau '03 has been named as the women's lacrosse interim head coach and will serve as the team's head coach for the 2010 season, announced Dr. Jo-Ann Nester, director of athletics.
