Amy Zappen Earns Fourth Weekly Goalie Honor

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Saint Anselm sophomore Amy Zappen (Huntington Beach, Calif.) was named ECAC East Goaltender of the Week this afternoon for the fourth time this season and the fifth time in her career. Zappen held her opponents to just one goal each in two games in the net last week.
Zappen made 46 saves and allowed just two goals in two complete games last week. She held the defending National Champion No. 2 Amherst Lord Jeffs to just one goal on Tuesday. She then took on the Southern Maine Huskies on Friday evening, and led the Hawks to a 3-1 ECAC East victory.
The Hawks return to action on Friday, February 12th, when they head to Purchase, N.Y., to take on the second-place Manhattanville College Valiants in an ECAC East Conference game beginning at 3:00 pm.
