Women's Basketball

Easton, Mass. (November 24) -- Saint Anselm freshman Megan Howard (St. Paul, Minn.) has been honored as the Northeast-10 Women's Basketball Freshman of the Week for her play during the week ending November 23rd.

Howard nearly averaged a double-double with 14.0 points and nine rebounds per contest. She began the week with a 14-point, six-rebound, two-steal effort in her home debut vs. Pace as she shot 6-for-12 from the field. Howard capped off the week with her second double-double of the season with 14 points and 12 rebounds. She also added a pair of steals and again shot 50 percent from the field.

The Hawks return to action on Tuesday night as the team travels to Charger Gym to take on the University of New Haven for a 5:30 p.m. start.
