Hawks Compete at Connecticut College Invitational
September 26, 2009Waterford, Conn. (September 26) -- The Saint Anselm men's cross country team traveled to the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, where the Hawks placed 16th out of 16 teams that took part in the eight-kilometer competition.
Drew Matthews (Madison, Conn.) was the top finisher for Saint Anselm in 178th place in a time of 31:06. He was followed by Ben Horton (Manchester, N.H.) just one second later, followed by Stephen Moran (Southborough, Mass.) in 201st place in a time of 34:02. Closing out the scoring were Mark Fahey (Malden, Mass.) and Nick Provost (Keene, N.H.) in 211th and 212th places in times of 36:36 and 36:37.
Saint Anselm is back in action on Saturday, October 3rd as the Hawks travel to the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College. The competition is set to begin at 10:45 a.m.
