Chaves Paces Hawks at NE-10 Championship

Colchester, Vt. (October 25) -- On Saturday morning at the Northeast-10 Cross Country Championships, the Saint Anselm men's cross country team finished 11th out of 14 teams with 318 points.

The Hawks were paced by a 62nd-place finish by freshman Chris Chaves (Hudson, Mass.) in a time of 28:06. Nick Provost (Keene, N.H.) was next in 73rd in 28:43, followed by Christopher Powers (Haverhill, Mass.) in 80th at 29:05. Closing out the scoring was John Surabian (Saugus, Mass.) in 88th at 29:50 and Robert DeAngelis (Quincy, Mass.) in 91st in 29:55.

UMass Lowell took the team title with a total of 31 points.
