Seventh-Place Showing at BC/Brown Giant Slalom

Pinkham Notch, N.H. (February 6) -- The Saint Anselm men's ski team placed seventh in the Giant Slalom race at the BC/Brown Carnival on Friday, held at Wildcat Mountain. The team was led by freshman Connor Lee (Rexford, N.Y.) in a combined time of 2:09.29.

Lee placed 40th for the Hawks, followed in 41st by Mike Maroni (Plymouth, N.H.) in 2:09.65. Rounding out the top four skiers for Saint Anselm was sophomore Andrew Ross (Wilbraham, Mass.) and junior Matt Pelucacci (Gouldsboro, Pa.) in 44th and 45th place, respectively. Ross finished in 2:15.27, followed by Pelucacci at 2:17.06.

Saint Anselm wraps up its season on Saturday as the Hawks ski in the Slalom competition at the BC/Brown Carnival. That race is also being held at Wildcat Mountain.
