Men's Skiing Places Sixth in UConn Day Two Slalom

North Conway, N.H. (January 19) -- On day two of the UConn Carnival, the Saint Anselm men's skiing team finished sixth in the second slalom race of the weekend in frigid conditions at Mount Cranmore.
The team was led by Matt Pelucacci (Gouldsboro, Pa.) in 27th place with a combined time of 1:32.78. Sam Piper (Dalton, Mass.) followed closely in 31st place, along with freshman Connor Lee (Rexford, N.Y.) in 33rd in 1:36.25 and Andrew Ross (Wilbraham, Mass.) in 34th in 1:36.71. Rounding out the top five skiers for the Hawks was Benjamin Bradley (Goffstown, N.H.) in 48th place.
Saint Anselm is back in action on Saturday and Sunday, January 24th and 25th, as the Hawks travel to Waterville Valley for the Plymouth State Carnival.
