Hawks Place Fifth in Saturday Giant Slalom

Sunapee, N.H. (January 10) -- The Saint Anselm men's ski team placed fifth on day two of the Colby-Sawyer Carnival, held at Mount Sunapee.

The top finisher was freshman Connor Lee (Rexford, N.Y.) in 32nd place in a combined time of 1:51.72. Mike Maroni (Plymouth, N.H.) and Sam Piper (Dalton, Mass.) were less than two seconds behind in 35th and 36th places, respectively. Senior captain Mike Wilbur (Amherst, N.H.) finished 39th in a combined time of 1:56.12, followed by Benjamin Bradley (Goffstown, N.H.) and Evan Frenn (Hollis, N.H.) in 47th and 48th places.
