Hawks Finish 6th at Colby-Sawyer Giant Slalom

Sunapee, N.H. (January 9) -- At the Colby-Sawyer Carnival on Friday afternoon, the Saint Anselm men's ski team placed sixth in the giant slalom competition. The team was sixth out of nine teams competing.
Matt Pelucacci (Gouldsboro, Pa.) placed 37th to lead the Hawks as he posted a combined time of 1:46.59. Michael Maroni (Plymouth, N.H.) was next for the Hawks in 43rd place in a time of 1:48.12. Rounding out the top five for the Hawks was Sam Piper (Dalton, Mass.) in 47th, freshman Connor Lee (Rexford, N.Y.) in 49th and Sam Bensley (Newburyport, Mass.) with a 50th-place finish.
The Hawks are back in action on Saturday as the Hawks will again compete at the Colby-Sawyer Carnival at Mount Sunapee.
