Steve Gaudreau, a 2003 graduate of Saint Anselm College, was named as the men's lacrosse head coach on August 27, 2009. Gaudreau comes to the Hilltop from Bow High School (N.H.), where he directed the Falcons to three New Hampshire state championships.

At Bow, Gaudreau posted an overall record of 75-13 overall, was the 2008 New Hampshire Division II Coach of the Year, and led the team to titles in 2004, 2008 and 2009. In 2006-2007, Gaudreau briefly left Bow for Saint Bernard's High School in Fitchburg, Mass., where he led the team to a school-record 12-win season. The team captured a district playoff game for the first time in school history and he was named as the 2007 US Lacrosse Central Massachusetts Coach of the Year.

In addition, Gaudreau serves as the head coach of the NH Tomahawks U-19 Summer Elite Team, as well as a coach and camp counselor at the Granite State Lacrosse Camp and the Rising Stars Lacrosse Camp.

A three-year starter for the Hawks men's lacrosse team, Gaudreau was a team-captain as a senior in 2003, as well an NEILA Division II All-Star in that same season. He graduated from Saint Anselm with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in history in the spring of 2003.

Gaudreau currently resides in Goffstown, N.H., with his wife, Kathryn, and their son, Paul.
