Hawks Drop Season Opener at No. 3 NYIT, 10-9
Old Westbury, N.Y. (February 28) -- In the 2010 season opener, the Saint Anselm men's lacrosse team dropped a 10-9 final at No. 3 ranked NYIT in non-conference action in Old Westbury, N.Y. The Hawks are 0-1 on the season, while the Bears improve to 1-0 overall.

Hawks Picked Sixth in NE-10 Preseason Coaches Poll
Easton, Mass. -- The Saint Anselm men's lacrosse team, coming off a semifinal appearance in the 2009 Northeast-10 Tournament, has been picked sixth in this year's Northeast-10 Preseason Coaches Poll. The Hawks ended 2009 with an 8-7 record.

Fairfield, Conn. (February 10) -- Saint Anselm has been picked fourth in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Preseason Poll, while senior Kevin DeBenedetto (Reading, Mass.) has been named to the Preseason All-New England Team.

Gaudreau Named as Men's Lacrosse Head Coach
Manchester, N.H. (August 27) -- Steve Gaudreau, a 2003 graduate of Saint Anselm College, has been named as men's lacrosse head coach. Gaudreau comes to the Hilltop from Bow High School (N.H.), where he directed the Falcons to three New Hampshire state championships.
