Men's Icers Set to Open 2009-2010 Season The 2009-2010 men's ice hockey team opens their season this Friday night at Castleton State College. The Hawks return 16 veteran players and welcome 14 freshmen. The team is led by head coach Ed Seney and assistant coaches Michael Martiniello and Mike Curtis. |

Men Open Season on the Road, Women Return Home MANCHESTER, N.H. – The men's and women's hockey teams each have two games this weekend. The men’s team opens their season on the road at Castleton and Skidmore. The women play at New England College then return home to host Salve Regina on Saturday at 3 pm. |

Hawks Picked First in NE-10 and Seventh in ECAC MANCHESTER, N.H. – The men’s ice hockey team was picked to finish first in the Northeast-10 and seventh in the ECAC East in the 2009-2010 preseason polls, voted on by the coaches of each conference. The Hawks open their season on the road on November 20th at Castleton. |
