Ed Seney returns for his seventh season on the Hilltop in 2008-2009. He was named the head coach at Saint Anselm on August 14, 2002.

A native of Lake Placid, N.Y., Seney has posted a 89-61-12 record in six seasons at Saint Anselm, and coached the Hawks to four straight NE-10 regular season championships, winning two of the last four NE-10 postseason championships. In 2007-2008, the Hawks finished with a 12-12-3 overall mark and finished as the runner-up in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament.

During the 2006-2007 season, Seney led the Hawks to a 13-12-3 overall record, winning the NE-10 regular season title for the fourth straight season. In 2003-04, Seney coached the Hawks to a 20-7 overall finish, a school record for wins. Seney was named as NE-10 Coach of the Year, ECAC East Conference Coach of the Year and was named as the New England Sportswriters Coach of the Year.

Seney, who is the Hawks sixth head coach in the program's history, has coached before in New Hampshire. A 1981 graduate of New England College, Seney remained in Henniker and served three years as an assistant coach with the Pilgrims. From 1984-87, Seney served as an assistant coach at Norwich University, followed by a one-year stint as an assistant coach at Division I Clarkson University.

In 1988, Seney gained his first head coaching job at SUNY Potsdam, where he stayed for 14 seasons and became the winningest coach in school history. While at SUNY Potsdam, Seney was a three-time State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Coach of the Year. His 1996 team captured the SUNYAC Championship and were one of eight teams to earn a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

Seney, and his wife Sandra, have two children, 20-year-old son, Garett, and 18-year-old daughter, Morgan.

Mike Martiniello enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Saint Anselm men's hockey team in 2008-2009.

Martiniello graduated from Saint Anselm in 2002 after spending four years on the hockey team, playing exactly 100 games as a member of the Hawks. He totaled at least 27 points in each of his last three season, with career highs of 15 goals and 29 points as a junior. He is ranked 13th on the program's all-time goals list with 46 and 24th on the all-time points list with 93.

Martiniello played professionally after leaving Saint Anselm, spending time in the ECHL and in Italy from 2002-04. He returned to New England and served as an assistant coach for Tewksbury High School in 2004-05 before rejoining the Hawks. He currently works for Summit Mortgage in Boston and resides in his hometown of Wilmington, Mass.

Mike Curtis enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Hawks men's hockey team in 2008-2009.

Curtis graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2007 and played exactly 100 games at forward for Ed Seney. He totaled 23 goals and 35 assists for 58 points as a member of the Hawks.

Curtis served as an assistant at Proctor Academy for the 2007-2008 season and led them to a Lakes Region Championship before rejoining the Hawks.
