Mike Martiniello enters his fourth season as an assistant coach for the Saint Anselm men's hockey team in 2008-2009.
Martiniello graduated from Saint Anselm in 2002 after spending four years on the hockey team, playing exactly 100 games as a member of the Hawks. He totaled at least 27 points in each of his last three season, with career highs of 15 goals and 29 points as a junior. He is ranked 13th on the program's all-time goals list with 46 and 24th on the all-time points list with 93.
Martiniello played professionally
after leaving Saint Anselm, spending time in the ECHL and in Italy
from 2002-04. He returned to New England and served as an assistant
coach for Tewksbury High School in 2004-05 before rejoining the
Hawks. He currently works for Summit Mortgage in Boston and resides
in his hometown of Wilmington, Mass.
