Noonan, Wyse Earn NE-10 Weekly Awards

South Easton, Mass. (November 24) - Sophomore forward Coleman Noonan (Norfolk, Mass.) and sophomore goaltender Alex Wyse (Amherst, N.Y.) were both honored by the Northeast-10 Conference for their play in the opening weekend.
Noonan, who was named the Northeast-10 Player of the Week, had a goal and an assist in the opening-night victory over Skidmore College 6-4, then added another goal and another assist in the 3-2 win over Castleton State on Saturday.
Wyse, a transfer from Clarkson University, was named the Northeast-10 Goalie of the Week for his 2-0-0 opening weekend. In the season opener against Skidmore, Wyse made 38 saves in the victory and then followed that up with another 38-save performance against Castleton State on Saturday for 76 saves on the weekend and a .927 save percentage. He was also named to the ECAC East Weekly Honor Roll for his performance.
Senior captain Tom Kerwin (Whitman, Mass.) was also named to the NE-10 Honor Roll for his play. Kerwin scored two goals for the Hawks, including the game-winner in a 6-4 ECAC East victory over Skidmore College.
Freshman forward Ryan Holley (Owings, Maryland) was also named to the ECAC East Weekly Honor Roll for his first collegiate goal against Skidmore.
The Hawks return to action Tuesday, December 2nd, as they will travel to NE-10 rival Assumption College for a 7:30 p.m. start.
