Hawks in 9th after Day One at NE-10 Championships

The Saint Anselm men's golf team played the first round of the Northeast-10 Champhionship today, hosted by American International College at the Crumpin Fox Country Club.  After the first 18 holes, the Hawks are in ninth place, shooting a 331.  American International and Southern New Hampshire are tied for first place 21 strokes ahead of the Hawks with a 310.

Senior James Henebry (Hampton Falls, N.H.) leads the Hawks, shooting an 80 on the day, and is currently tied for 20th overall.  Freshman Tyler Fay (Barrington, R.I.) is close behind in 27th with 82.  Junior Dylan McSparren (Portsmouth, R.I.) is two strokes behind him, shooting an 84 and sitting in 38th place.  Freshman Emilio Bardini (Salem, Mass.) rounded out the Hawks' team score just one shot behind McSparren in 41st place with an 85.  Brian Foley (Worcester, Mass.), last week's Freshman of the Week, is just one stroke behind Bardini, shooting an 86 and tied for 47th place.
