MANCHESTER, N.H. -- Saint Anselm golfer Brian Foley (Worcester, Mass.) won the Northeast-10 Conference Freshman of the Week award after his strong showing at the Dartmouth College Invitational this past weekend.  Out of 71 participants, Foley had the 12th best second round score, shooting a 73 on Sunday, to pull him up to 27th place with a 151 (78, 73) overall.  Foley's 151-stroke performance was 16th out of all Northeast-10 Conference players at any tournament this past week.

Foley helped the Saint Anselm golf team receive ninth place at the invitational with a team score of 621.  His strong second round gave the Hawks the bump-up they needed to overtake cross-town rival Southern New Hampshire, who had been leading the Hawks by a stroke after round one.

The Hawks return to action this weekend as they head to the Crumpin Fox Golf Club for the Northeast-10 Championships.  The two-day tournament will take place on October 3rd and 4th.
