Brewster, Mass. (October 20)—The Saint Anselm golf team finished the first day in 10th place out of 44 teams, 2nd for all Division II teams, at the 74th Annual NEIGA (New England Intercollegiate Golf Association) Championships at the Captains Golf Course on Monday.

Canterbury, N.H. (October 13)—The Saint Anselm golf team finished fourth at the Southern New Hampshire Penmen Invitational at Canterbury Woods Golf Club. The Hawks were led by Matt Sebet’s (Westwood, Mass.) 150 total and fifth place finish.

Hawks Win Fall Classic
Candia, N.H. (October 9)—The Saint Anselm golf team, led by Mike Rattigan (Reading, Mass.), won the 2008 Saint Anselm Fall Classic Thursday at Candia Woods Golf Course. The team shot a 311 total, defeating Bentley, Franklin Pierce, and UNH.

Middlebury, Vt. (October 5)—For the first time in school history, the Hawks were represented by two female golfers at a tournament. Sophomore Rebecca Damon (Rockland, Mass.) and freshman Emily Sturgis (Barnstable, Mass.) competed at the 2008 Middlebury Invite.

Two Teams of Hawks Compete at Dartmouth Invite
Hanover, N.H. (September 21)—The men’s golf team competed at the Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday and Sunday afternoon at Hanover Country Club. The Hawks were represented by two teams, coming in fifth and sixth out of the nine teams.

Brunswick, Maine (September 14)— Matt Sebet (Westwood, Mass.) leads the Saint Anselm men’s golf team, with a final round 75, to a second place finish at the 2008 Bowdoin Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The team finished with a 614 total.

Golf Opens Season at St. Lawrence Invitational
Canton, N.Y. (September 7) - The Saint Anselm men's and women's golf teams opened the season at the St. Lawrence Invitational on Saturday and Sunday. The men's team finished in 7th, while Rebecca Damon (Rockland, Mass.) finished the tournament in 33rd overall.
