Baudinet Named as NE-10 Player of the Week

Easton, Mass. (March 2) -- Saint Anselm sophomore guard Thomas Baudinet (Watertown, Conn.) was honored as the Northeast-10 Conference men's basketball Player of the Week for his play during the week ending March 1st. This is his second Player of the Week honor this season.
In a 2-0 week, Baudinet averaged 25.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and one steal per game as the Hawks advanced to the quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Tournament. Baudinet shot 68 percent from the field for the week, as well as 7-for-10 from three-point land and 10-for-10 from the free throw line.
Baudinet began the week with a 26-point effort in an overtime win over Saint Rose, including 10-for-10 at the charity stripe. In the first round of the league tournament, he put up a team-leading 25-point effort as the Hawks rallied past American International for the 81-65 win. Baudinet was 10-for-11 from the field in the game, including 5-for-5 from behind the three-point arc.
Baudinet was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team last week and is the fourth-leading scorer in the conference at 18.4 points per game. In addition to his two Player of the Week honors, Baudinet has been named to the league's weekly honor roll nine times this year.
