Previous: Greg was an outstanding high school player at Andover High School in Massachusetts and was named to the Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic Teams for both his junior and senior seasons. He averaged 18 points per game as a senior, 23 points per game as a junior and finished his career with 1,089 points. Played for highly-successful head coach Dave Fazio at Andover High School.
Coach Dickson on Vetrano: "Greg will have a great opportunity to take control of this team as the starting point guard and we think he is up to the task. He has experience as the back up and now we need him to take every part of his game to another level. He really has good speed and quickness and can play effectively in the open court, so hopefully we can get our running game back in order. I think Greg will score the ball fine and we really need him to concentrate on all the other aspects of point guard play that will determine if his team wins or loses."
Personal: Son of John and Patty... Has a
