Michael Sirois enters his sixth season at Saint Anselm as an assistant athletic trainer.
Sirois is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) and is also certified by the American Red Cross in CPR for the professional rescuer.
A native of Ellsworth, Maine, Sirois graduated from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, with a degree in athletic training. He also played soccer and earned four varsity letters at UNE.
He then went on to the University of Utah where he graduated in May of 2004 with a master's degree in exercise physiology. While at Utah, Sirois served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the Utes' baseball team.
Sirois is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Through the NASM, Sirois is also a performance enhancement specialist.
Sirois recently joined the staff of Stop It Goaltending summer camps, an ice hockey goaltending camp for the top goalies at the high school and collegiate levels. There, Sirois serves as the camp's head strength and conditioning coach.
