Associate Director of Athletics Donna Guimont is in her 11th year in her position. She held the title of assistant director of athletics since 1992, a position she shared with her head women's basketball coaching duties. She retired from the women's basketball coaching ranks in 1996.

On the basketball court, Guimont established herself as one of the winningest coaches in the history of Division II basketball. Her career produced an overall record of 336-165 for an impressive 67.1 winning percentage. During her tenure, she guided the program to 17 winning seasons, including a Northeast-10 Tournament championship in 1991 and NCAA tournament appearances in 1990, 1991, 1994 and 1995.

Guimont, a former Northeast-10 Conference "Coach of the Year," produced seven All-Americans, and has seen a number of former players move on to the coaching ranks themselves.

Now in her 33rd year at Saint Anselm, "Coach Guimont," as she is known on campus, has worn many hats.

At the same time that Guimont was becoming the winningest head coach in school history and creating one of the region's most respected programs, she was also holding positions as head coach for women's softball and volleyball, athletic trainer, assistant director of intramurals, facilities coordinator, equipment manager and women's athletics coordinator at one time or another.

Guimont served on the NCAA national women's basketball committee from 1989 to 1995, the last two of which were spent as chairperson. Since 1998, Guimont has served as the New England regional chairperson for women's soccer and as a member of the NCAA Division II women's soccer national committee.

The first woman ever inducted into the Saint Anselm Anselmian Athletics Hall of Fame in 1986, Guimont is also a member of the Manchester, N.H. Queen City Hall of Fame and is a member of the Manchester Union Leader "Parade of Champions" for her decades of coaching. Her 1991 basketball team was also the first team to be inducted to the school's Hall of Fame. Guimont has also been inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame, housed at the University of Rhode Island.

She has been a nationally prominent men's and women's softball official and a fully accredited basketball official.

A 1972 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Guimont is a lifelong resident of the Manchester area, and currently resides in Belmont, N.H.
