Neil Duval enters his seventh season at Saint Anselm and his fourth as head athletic trainer.
Duval is a certified athletic trainer (ATC) and a certified performance enhancement specialist (PES) through NASM. He is also an instructor for the American Red Cross, teaching courses in CPR/AED, Community First Aid & Safety and Emergency Response.
Duval also serves as an athletic trainer for the USA Women's Hockey New England Development Camp. Players from this camp are among those selected for the USA National Select Teams.
A native of New Hampshire, Duval graduated from Plymouth State College in 1998 with a degree in physical education and special options in athletic training and fitness & rehabilitation.
Duval returned to his alma mater in 2002 as an assistant athletic trainer, where he supervised and advised students in additon to his other duties.
Prior to his stint at PSC, Duval worked as a clinical athletic training coordinator at Performance Rehab, Inc. in Nashua, N.H. and was also the head athletic trainer at Bishop Guertin High School.
Duval is a certified member of the
National Athletic Trainers Association and the National Academy of
Sports Medicine. Duval has sat on the executive board of the New
Hampshire Athletic Trainers Association for the last eight years.
He currently resides in Hopkinton, N.H., with his wife, Sara, and
their two children, Joshua and Ally.
